Book Review!: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

        I promise everyone I won't be doing any spoilers! I just want to share my opinion on the book!
       I thought the book was overall amazing! The beginning was a little slow but once you got to a certain point it picks up an dis hard to put down. It is definitely a book you won't want to read once you really get into it! I thought it was amazing ending to the series. I would of loved to see more into the ending though. I even cried at the end. It was an overall emotional but great book to read and I recommend you read the whole series if you haven't already!

Try Something New!

     We always have that time in our lives where we start to become accustom to our lives. We get use to our daily and weekly routines and it is hard to do something new. In reality, you really should be opened to trying new things. Once in a while, change up what you have for dinner or change where you go for lunch. new things make your life more exciting and more adventurous. Next time you go to your favorite restaurant order something that sounds good but you never tried before because you always play it safe and just get the same thing. Go to different restaurants or try new stores to shop at. Even going to new events with friends makes everything more exciting.
    Changing the small things in your life might lead you to bigger and more exciting things in the future. You could meet new people and experience things you never thought you would do. Stepping out of your comfort zone in all aspects help you grow as a person. Give it a try and you wont regret it!

My smoothie recipes!

I absolutely love smoothies! They are one of my favorite drinks and i even use them as meals! Today I wanted to share my two favorite smoothies: peanut and banana and my all fruit smoothie! I hope you give them a try and if you do leave a comment and tell me if you liked them!

Peanut butter and Banana

4-5 Ice cubes
2 frozen bananas
1 cup of water
2 spoonfuls of peanut butter

put all into a blender and blend and enjoy!



All Fruit Smoothie

Frozen raspberries
Frozen strawberries
Frozen banana
(add any other fruits you want)
Grapes

Put all into a blender and blend and enjoy!!

Snack time!

There is always that time of day that we get a little hungry and want a snack! The first thing we think of is chips or junk food. But how about instead we grab some grapes or an apple! You can easily make healthy foods taste good! 
   Cut an apple into Apple slices and have it with some peanut butter! Mix your favorite fruits with some fruit juice or use grapes and make a very healthy smoothie! Have a fruit salad or a simple salad in the place of chips and fatty foods. It is easy to change up your diet! If you do it slowly you will get use to the good foods.
  Eating healthier won't just help you be healthier but make you feel healthier! If you keep at it soon enough you will have so much more energy and feel so much better.

Pets, Pets...and MORE Pets!!!

Something everyone should have in there homes is a pet! Any kind you would like! But pets can help you in so many ways! If you live alone, they bring you company! If you had a bad day, cuddling an animal or even playing with one will make you happier. Dogs help you get exercise by taking them for walks. Playing with cats or dogs help you relax more. When you have pets they make you feel happy and less alone. Next time you want to spurge on something, by a pet! Any kind, but by one. They can really improve your mood and possibly your health. I know my kitten, cat and dog help me a lot!

We all have pressure on us or people expect more from you. As an individual, you control your life, no one else. You have to stop listening to what others want from you and just take control. People can put pressure on you but it's your choice to let it affect you or not. We all have choices in this world, and this is one of them. Choose to just be you! No one can tell you to be better than you! If you try your hardest at something and people are still disappointed, then you don't need them. Why do you need people that will just put you down? The answer is you don't. Cut them out and stop paying attention to what others want from you. Concentrate on being the best YOU

Advice: Stress

            We all have stress in our lives. It might be school, money, or family, etc. In conclusion, we all have our own types of stress. Some people try and just cope with it or they find ways that they can relax themselves. I personally do both. I will cope with it which means I get really bad headaches or I read and/or do something active. When it comes to stressing you need to try and focus on one thing at a time. Don't start thinking ahead of everything. Start with one thing and work your way through it all. The last thing you want is  to become overwhelmed. If it is with school, you want to concentrate on one day or one subject at a time then make your way through it all. Try and not wait till the last minute to take care of all your school work because then you will get really stressed and overwhelmed. When it comes to family, you need to try and be patient with them and if that doesn't work then try and just avoid them. When your stressing try and manage it or do something active. Try meditating or some yoga. You can also try running or playing a game. Do something that makes you happy. Even listening to music can calm you down. In the end, a happier and relaxed you, will result in a less stressed and overwelmed you.

Study Tips!

We all have our own way of studying and it usually gets us to know what we need to know. Others have trouble studying and they feel that no matter what they do they won't be able to remember the material. And we all go through procrastination to avoid the studying. i am going to share some tips on studying, they are what I do and I always do pretty well on my tests.

10 Study Tips

1. Make sure you have all the notes from the class 

2. Make sure your in a quiet place

3. Try and avoid your phone or social media

4. Keep reading your notes over and over

5. Don't wait for the night before, it is better if you study a little at a time rather then all at once

6. Take breaks

7. Have snacks with you so you don't have to get up and get distracted

8. Highlight things that are important

9. Make sure you concentrate

10. Try your best!

All girls have there favorite types of body sprays or lotions. Maybe hand sanitizer or candles! So today I'm going to share some of my favorites and maybe inspire some of you to try them if you haven't before!

     This scent comes in the lotion, and the body spray. It's one of my favorite scents!  
2. Paris Amour
     This scent comes in lotion, body spray, and hand sanitizer. It smells like country chic bit closer to a fruity smell.
3. Harvest Peach
     This scent comes in their candles!
4. Pink Chiffon
      This scent comes in lotions and body sprays!

Easy ways to stay fit!

~Eat Healthy!
     You don't have to follow any strict diet or plan, just eat right. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. Make smoothies with water or fresh fruit juice instead of milk or yogurt. Try and eat more meat and veggies for meals or even saleds. You want to try and stay away from starches (pasta and rice), dairy (cheese, milk, etc.), junk food (chips, chookies, etc) and breads. Even try having more nuts or organic things. All this can help you stay fit during your normal days. Make the right choices and it will go a long way.
~Exercise!
   Adding a little work out doesn't hurt. Your eating good things now just had some exercise to help burn calories! You can do something as easy as a 15 min jog, or do some sets of crunches, sit-ups, leg lifts, squats, and planks or do both! Adding a little work out into your daily routine along with eating the right foods will help you stay fit!

When will winter be over?

This is kind of just a rant post. Haha. I am just done with the cold. I want the warm weather. Let's have spring already so we can have the summer. I want to go to the beach and be outside and beable to go outside with out freezing! I am sure all of you are over the cold now! Makeup!

    I love makeup! I have to have it. I won't even leave the house unless I have all my make-up done. My personal favorite products are from e.l.f and Maybelline. I use medium foundation, along with concealer, and my e.l.f face powder. Then I use my huge eyeshadow palette from e.l.f and use a light color as a base and then I use a gold or neutral brown color for my eyeshadow. I then take out my liquid eyeliner from e.l.f and just put a line on the top of my eye not the bottom. To add something extra to make my eyes stand out I use white crayon eyeliner and but it in the corners (closest to the nose) and smudge it in. Finally I apply my Maybelline Mega Plush mascara and curl them. At the end I just add some blush using my all purpose color stick in pink lemonade from e.l.f and I'm all set for the day!

I am so sorry!/ Advice: Be Yourself

Well I truly meant to post yesterday but something came up and I was unable to do so. I decided to post today on behave of yesterday.
         Advice: Be Yourself
               At school, there are all the different groups or cliques. People tell you that you have your place that you fit in and that is it. There are the leaders of those groups and then there are followers of those groups. But who says you have to be a part of only ONE group and that you cant have more then one leader. We all have our own chance at being who we want to be to be ourselves. You can be apart of as may groups as you want, have all kinds of friends. You don't have to listen to what anyone tells you when it comes to fitting in and getting to be who you want to be.
         I never fit in to one place. I was and still am a very well rounded person. I have played soccer and softball, was a cheerleader and a dancer. I coached young cheerleaders and was part of fashion shows at my high school. I was frinds with guys and girls. We all clicked in our own ways. No one said we had to have everything in common but, we had enough in common that we could be close and great friends. I am even still good friends with a lot of my friends from high school.
     Don't let people push you over. Take a stand and be who YOU want to be not what someone else wants you to be. If you cane be your own leader, who needs someone to follow and never get a say. Take charge of YOUR life.
